The Beatriz Vasconcelos de Assumpção Library
The Library at SATS, is designed to hold up to 50,000 volumes. It provides ample space for research and study and is equipped with a mini computer lab where students can use the internet and do their academic work. Currently the library contains 26,000 volumes written in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and German. The library also offers students an ample collection of newspapers, journals, and magazines.
The library was named after Dr. Beatriz Vasconcelos de Assumpção in honor of her support for the school in its early days. She was the first person to donate books to the new library. During her lifetime, Dr. Vasconcelos de Assumpção, who passed away in 1995, developed a powerful ministry through Intervarsity Ministries-Brazil.
